Uproot helps frequently moving active duty service members take advantage of the VA Home Loan benefit they’ve earned to build wealth for their family. Today, the active duty homeownership rate is about half the civilian rate because of frequent move orders and high transaction costs. To overcome these barriers, Uproot leverages the VA Home Loan assumption feature to enable multiple military families to work together to pay down a single mortgage.
