First Street Acquisitions

First Street Acquisition Corporation was a blank check company sponsored by an affiliate of HighCape Capital LP. It was incorporated in Delaware for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination. The company completed its initial public offering in November 2021, raising approximately $115 million. While it did not limit its search to a particular industry, it intended to focus on healthcare and healthcare-related industries. In January 2023, the company completed its business combination with NewAmsterdam Pharma, and the resulting public entity now trades on the Nasdaq.
