FinTecSystems (FTS) was founded in Munich in 2014 and is one of the leading banking API and smart data providers in Germany. Alongside the Open Banking platform that the company uses to provide Account Information and Payment Initiation Services, FinTecSystems has primarily focussed on the analysis of financial data through an analytics platform. Banks, FinTechs and payment service providers use FinTecSystems’ solutions to make real-time loan decisions, minimize credit risks and initiate online transfers. In March 2019, TÜV-certified FinTecSystems received BaFin authorization as an Account Information and Payment Initiation Service Provider. With 40 staff across five locations, FTS partners include N26, Santander, DKB and Deutsche Handelsbank.
