Copal

Founded in 2002 as Copal Partners, the company established itself as a pioneer in the Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) industry, specializing in high-value financial research and analytics. In 2011, it was acquired by Moody's Corporation. In 2014, Copal Partners merged with Amba Research, another Moody's acquisition, to form Copal Amba. The combined entity offered a wider range of services, including investment research, credit analysis, and risk management support. Subsequently, Copal Amba has been fully integrated and rebranded into its parent division, now operating as a core part of Moody's Analytics Knowledge Services.
