Botswana Bond Market Association

Established in 2007 by the Bank of Botswana and other key stakeholders, the Botswana Bond Market Association (BBMA) serves as the central association for the country's bond market. Its primary mission is to foster a fair, efficient, and liquid domestic bond market. The BBMA achieves this by developing and maintaining market conventions, establishing a code of conduct for its members, providing educational resources, and acting as a liaison between market participants and regulatory authorities to advocate for market development.
