Avalon Acquisition Inc.

Avalon Acquisition Inc. was a blank check company incorporated in Delaware for the purpose of entering into a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses. The company, led by CEO S.P. “Chip” Trecartin, completed its initial public offering in October 2021, raising approximately $207 million. It intended to focus on target businesses in the financial technology and financial services industries. However, the company did not complete a business combination within the required time frame and, in March 2023, announced its intention to dissolve and liquidate, returning its capital to the public stockholders.
