Founded in 1996, Antares Capital has a long history as a key player in middle-market lending. Originally part of GE Capital, the firm became a standalone entity in 2015. Today, Antares is a subsidiary of Antares Holdings LP, which is majority-owned by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). The company's primary mission is to provide flexible and innovative financing solutions to private equity sponsors to support their acquisitions, recapitalizations, and growth initiatives for their portfolio companies.
