Amherst Capital Management LLC was a BNY Mellon investment boutique launched in 2015. The firm focused on providing investment solutions across the U.S. real estate market, including commercial real estate lending, mortgage-backed securities, and whole loans. It was formed as a partnership between BNY Mellon and Amherst Holdings, a specialized real estate investment advisor, to combine institutional scale with deep asset-class expertise. In October 2018, BNY Mellon announced its decision to wind down the Amherst Capital platform, and its SEC registration was officially terminated in January 2019.
