United Security Bancshares is a bank holding company. United Security Bank (the Bank) is a wholly owned bank subsidiary of the Company. The Bank’s operations are subject to federal and state laws applicable to state-chartered, Fed member banks and its deposits are insured up to the applicable limits by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (the FDIC). The Bank is also subject to the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and regulatory reporting requirements of the FDIC. The Bank offers a range of commercial banking services primarily to the business and professional community and individuals located in Fresno, Madera, Kern and Santa Clara Counties. The Bank offers a range of deposit instruments, including personal and business checking accounts and savings accounts, interest-bearing negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) accounts, money market accounts and time certificates of deposit.
