Founded in 2014 by leading cryptographers Professor Ivan Damgård and Professor Jesper Buus Nielsen, Sepior provides advanced cryptographic solutions, particularly focusing on Threshold Cryptography and Multi-Party Computation (MPC). The company's core mission is to offer institution-grade security for digital asset transactions and key management, eliminating the single point of failure associated with traditional key storage. In November 2022, Sepior was acquired by Zodia Custody, an institutional-grade crypto asset custodian backed by Standard Chartered, to integrate its advanced MPC technology into Zodia's custody platform and expand its service offerings.
