The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has revoked Rockfort Markets Limited's Derivative Issuer (DI) license due to multiple breaches of regulatory requirements. The FMA found that RockGlobal, operating under Rockfort, failed to comply with advertising regulations and did not adequately address previous compliance issues. The cancellation of the license was a response to serious contraventions and a lack of improvement following prior warnings. RockGlobal had appealed the FMA's decision but ultimately discontinued the appeal, allowing the FMA to publish the case. The FMA cited eight material contraventions including failure to maintain effective compliance systems and misleading advertising.
