Mobile Decisioning

Mobile Decisioning is a technology company providing mobile value added services to mobile network operators in emerging nations. Its main product is Airtime Credit Service, which provides emergency airtime credit to prepaid mobile subscribers. This credit is typically paid back at the subscriber’s next reload. In 2012, Mobile Decisioning was announced as the winner of the IBM Global Entrepreneur of the Year Award at an event held in New York. It currently has live operations in 13 countries in Africa. The company has to date facilitated transactions in the 13 African countries where it has operations, which has helped mobile network operators like Airtel and MTN increase both subscriber revenues and talk time on their networks.
