lombard street research (lsr) is a macroeconomic forecasting consultancy located in london (england). lsr seeks to provide an 'independent. objective. unbiased' approach to macroeconomic research and concentrates on providing information to the corporate/financial services segment of the research market. as well as research the lsr also hosts a series of seminars in many major financial centres, with both its own economists and guest speakers. it is a strong believer in broad money and credit developments and in market deregulation. the chief economist and chairman is charles dumas.
