Ipreo

Founded in 2006 through the merger of i-Deal and Hemscott, Ipreo grew to become a leading financial technology and data provider. The company offered a suite of products and services that supported capital-raising activities, investor relations, and private market workflows for investment banks, publicly traded companies, and private equity firms. Its solutions covered the entire capital markets lifecycle, from pre-deal analytics and deal execution to post-deal investor tracking and corporate governance. In May 2018, Ipreo was acquired by IHS Markit for $1.855 billion and its services were integrated into the IHS Markit portfolio. Following the merger of IHS Markit and S&P Global in 2022, the former Ipreo services are now part of S&P Global Market Intelligence.
