Federal Tax Authority

Established under Federal Decree-Law No. 13 of 2016, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) is the official government body in the United Arab Emirates tasked with managing and collecting federal taxes and related fines. The FTA's mission is to enhance the UAE's economic sustainability through the administration of a world-class tax system. Its responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT), Excise Tax, and Corporate Tax, ensuring tax compliance, and providing services to taxpayers to facilitate their obligations.
