Community Housing Fund

The Community Housing Fund is a governmental initiative in the United Kingdom, not a private company. Originally launched in 2016, its mission is to increase the number of homes delivered by the community-led housing sector. The fund provides both capital and revenue grants to help community groups through the process of building new homes, from initial planning to construction. It is managed by Homes England and overseen by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, targeting local community land trusts, housing co-operatives, and other community-based organisations.
