Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC)

Founded in 1978, the Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC) is a quasi-public agency in Massachusetts that acts as a key financial and technical resource for community-based non-profit organizations. As a Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI), CEDAC's mission is to foster strong communities by providing early-stage financing, technical assistance, and policy leadership, primarily for the development and preservation of affordable housing, as well as the creation and expansion of child care facilities. It collaborates with a wide range of partners to help non-profits navigate complex development projects from conception to completion, ultimately strengthening the social and economic fabric of the Commonwealth.
