Claimdog was a financial technology startup founded to simplify the process for individuals to discover and retrieve unclaimed property. This property includes assets like dormant bank accounts, uncashed paychecks, insurance payouts, and security deposits that have been turned over to state treasuries. The company developed a user-friendly platform that aggregated data from various government sources, allowing users to search for and file claims for their money easily and for free. In December 2016, Claimdog was acquired by Credit Karma, and its technology and services were integrated into Credit Karma's Unclaimed Money product.
