Centre for Securities Industry Strategy

The Centre for Securities Industry Strategy (CSIS) was a 'think tank' established in the early 2000s to serve the UK securities industry. It was a strategic body backed by major industry organizations including the London Stock Exchange (LSE), the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), CRESTCo (the central securities depository), and the Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers (Apcims). The Centre's mission was to conduct research and analysis on key issues and future trends affecting the industry, with the goal of developing long-term strategies to enhance its competitiveness and efficiency. It is no longer in operation.
