Originally founded as Centaur Fund Services in 2009, the company established itself as a major independent fund administrator. In 2021, Centaur was acquired by and integrated into Waystone, a global leader in institutional governance, risk, and compliance services for the asset management industry. Waystone itself was formed through the merger of several firms and has grown through strategic acquisitions. The combined entity offers a comprehensive suite of services including fund administration, management company (ManCo) services, corporate services, and compliance solutions to a global client base of asset managers.
