Alliance Microfinance AS (AMF) was established in 2011 by a group of Nordic investors with the mission to create a better future by providing financial services to the unbanked and underbanked populations. The company functions as a social impact enterprise, channeling investments into microfinance institutions (MFIs), primarily in Southeast Asia. By providing loans and equity, AMF aims to empower these local institutions to offer financial products like micro-loans to low-income entrepreneurs, thereby promoting economic development, gender equality, and contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
