Founded in 1996, Adeptra was a global leader in providing automated, interactive customer communication solutions for financial institutions and other businesses. The company's platform enabled real-time, two-way communication with customers via voice, SMS, email, and mobile applications to verify transactions, manage debt collections, and prevent fraud. In September 2012, Adeptra was acquired by FICO for approximately $115 million. Its technology and services were subsequently integrated into FICO's product suite, primarily enhancing the FICO® Falcon® Platform and FICO® Customer Communication Services.
