1st University Credit Union

Originally chartered in 1956 to serve the employees of Baylor University, 1st University Credit Union has since expanded its field of membership. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and directed by its members, with earnings returned to them in the form of higher savings rates, lower loan rates, and improved services. The credit union's mission is to provide a source of credit at fair and reasonable rates and to encourage thrift, savings, and the wise use of credit among its members. It offers a full range of personal banking services, including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, and credit cards.
