Tesseract

Founded in 2017, Tesseract aimed to provide institutional-grade financial services for digital assets. The company, operating under the legal entity Tesseract Group Oy, was regulated by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) as a virtual currency provider. Its core services included over-the-counter (OTC) trading, margin lending, and fixed-term loans for institutional clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, and cryptocurrency exchanges. In June 2023, Tesseract Group Oy officially filed for bankruptcy in Finland, citing significant financial challenges exacerbated by the collapse of FTX and general crypto market volatility.
