Founded in 2012, Ikaaz was a Bangalore-based fintech company that developed a comprehensive platform for merchants. Their services included Tap & Pay using NFC, a mobile Point-of-Sale (mPOS) solution for accepting credit and debit card payments, and support for various other digital payment methods. The company's mission was to empower small and medium-sized businesses across India with affordable and easy-to-use payment acceptance solutions. In 2015, Ikaaz was acquired by Vayavyapar, another fintech company, which itself was later acquired by FTCash. Since the acquisition, the Ikaaz brand and its original operations have ceased.
