ECMC

Educational Credit Management Corporation (ECMC) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1994. Its mission is to help students and families plan and pay for college. ECMC operates as a student loan guaranty agency for the U.S. Department of Education, providing services for federal student loan programs, including loan rehabilitation and default prevention. Beyond its role as a guarantor, ECMC offers extensive financial literacy programs, outreach services, and resources aimed at increasing access to and success in postsecondary education, with a particular focus on career and technical education.
