Originally a company named Diligence, Inc., it was a pioneer in third-party, cloud-based due diligence solutions. In 2014, Diligence was acquired by NAVEX (at the time The Network, Inc.), a global leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software. Today, the Diligence solution is an integral part of NAVEX's integrated risk management platform. Its mission is to help organizations protect their brand and mitigate risk by automating the due diligence process for vendors, suppliers, and other third parties, screening them against sanctions lists, and identifying potential issues like bribery, corruption, and other legal or reputational risks.
