CDC Small Business Finance

Founded in 1978, CDC Small Business Finance is a non-profit organization and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with a mission to provide capital to underserved small business owners to foster economic development and create jobs. The company is one of the nation's top providers of the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 504 loan, which facilitates the purchase of commercial real estate and heavy equipment. In 2021, CDC Small Business Finance joined forces with Capital Impact Partners to form a new enterprise, Momentus Capital, to offer a broader continuum of capital and services to communities, though it continues to operate and lend under the CDC Small Business Finance brand.
