Association of Foreign Exchange and Payment Companies

The Association of Foreign Exchange & Payment Companies (AFEP) is the trade body for the foreign exchange and payments industry in the United Kingdom. Founded in 2011, AFEP represents a wide range of members, including payment institutions, e-money institutions, and other firms involved in cross-border payments and currency exchange. The association's primary mission is to represent its members' interests by engaging with UK, EU, and global policymakers, regulators, and the media to help shape policy, promote high industry standards, and provide a forum for discussion on key industry issues.
