"American Compensation Service" is not a legally registered or operational company. The name is consistently associated with a widespread advance-fee fraud scheme reported by numerous consumer protection agencies, including the Better Business Bureau (BBB). In this scam, victims receive unsolicited checks appearing to be from "American Compensation Service," often as a supposed prize or payment. They are instructed to deposit the check and immediately wire a portion of the funds back to the sender to cover taxes or fees. The original check later bounces, leaving the victim responsible for the full amount sent to the scammers. There is no evidence of a legitimate company with this name providing any actual services.
