AFL-CIO Investment Trust Corporation

The AFL-CIO Investment Trust Corporation (ITC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). Established in 1964, the ITC's mission is to provide professional investment management services to union-sponsored and public employee pension plans. It develops and sponsors investment funds, most notably the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust (HIT) and the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust (BIT), which primarily invest in real estate and development projects that are built with 100% union labor, aiming to generate competitive financial returns while also creating union jobs and promoting economic development.
