Epargne Salariale

"Epargne Salariale" (Employee Savings) is a framework in France that allows employees to build savings with the help of their employer. It typically consists of two main types of plans: the PEE (Plan d'Épargne Entreprise), a medium-term savings plan, and the PERCO or its successor the PER (Plan d'Épargne Retraite), which is a long-term retirement savings plan. Employee contributions, along with potential employer matching funds and profit-sharing, are invested in a selection of investment funds (FCPE). This system is a key component of employee benefits in France, managed by major financial institutions and asset managers on behalf of companies.
