Founded by veteran value investor Mark Boyar, Boyar Value Group has been operating for nearly 50 years. The firm began in 1975 with the launch of its institutional research publication, *Asset Analysis Focus*, which seeks to identify undervalued companies. In 1983, the group expanded to include Boyar Asset Management, which manages a mutual fund and separate accounts for high-net-worth individuals and institutions, applying the same disciplined, research-intensive value investing approach. The company remains a family-run business dedicated to its core mission of in-depth, fundamental analysis to uncover long-term investment opportunities.
