Simplecoin

Founded in the Czech Republic, SIMPLECOIN s.r.o. established itself as a leading payment service provider specializing in cryptocurrency. The company's primary service allowed e-commerce businesses and other online merchants to easily accept payments in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, which Simplecoin would then convert to fiat currency (like CZK or EUR) for the merchant. In 2019, the company and its services were acquired by GOPAY s.r.o., a major Central European online payment gateway. Following the acquisition, the Simplecoin brand was phased out and its technology was integrated into the GoPay platform, ceasing operations as an independent entity.
