The Optimism Foundation is the organization behind Optimism, a leading Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that utilizes Optimistic Rollup technology. Its mission is to address Ethereum's scalability challenges by enabling developers to build and deploy applications with significantly lower transaction fees and faster confirmation times, while still inheriting the security of the Ethereum mainnet.
