Luna Foundation Guard

The Luna Foundation Guard (LFG) was a non-profit organization founded in January 2022 and based in Singapore. Its stated mission was to foster a decentralized economy by supporting the growth and stability of the Terra blockchain. LFG's core function was to build and manage the UST Reserve, a treasury of diversified crypto assets (including Bitcoin, AVAX, and others) intended to act as a backstop to protect the 1:1 US dollar peg of the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin. Following the catastrophic collapse of the Terra/Luna ecosystem in May 2022, LFG's primary purpose became obsolete, and its remaining assets have been a subject of public scrutiny and legal investigation.
