Loopring

Loopring is a software protocol designed to enable the creation of decentralized crypto exchanges on the Ethereum blockchain using zero-knowledge proofs (zk-Rollups). Its mission is to provide a platform for building decentralized applications that can match the speed and low cost of centralized services while retaining the security and self-custody benefits of Ethereum. Founded by Daniel Wang, the Loopring protocol allows for high-throughput, low-fee trading and payments without users having to surrender control of their private keys. The native token, LRC, is used for protocol fees, staking, and governance within the ecosystem.
