Kudo Insurance is an App that uses mobile phone telematics to assess a user’s driving and create an individual score that can then offer preferential policy discounts to good drivers. App Users are rewarded for good driving with Kudo's in-App currency Kudo Koins which they can exchange for goods, and/or entries into a cash prize draw. Kudo solution gamifies driving to created a highly interactive user experience that drives referrals and continued App usage. Driving information captured by the app could also be used as evidence in the event of a motor accident. Via unique data science, risk selection techniques and customer self-service Kudo intends to build the most profitable motor insurer. Kudo will start in the UK before expanding overseas in the next 2-3 years.
