Kredietunie Groningen

Kredietunie Groningen is a cooperative credit union founded in 2013 by and for entrepreneurs in the province of Groningen, Netherlands. Its mission is to stimulate the regional economy by providing financing (up to €250,000) to promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that may have difficulty securing traditional bank loans. The model is based on members (experienced entrepreneurs) providing capital and, crucially, offering their expertise and coaching to the entrepreneurs who receive the loans, thereby increasing their chances of success.
