Kidfund

Kidfund was a financial technology company that provided a mobile application to help parents, family, and friends save for a child's future. The app facilitated saving and gifting directly into a tax-advantaged investment account (a UTMA account) for a child, combining social features with financial planning. Founded in 2014 by Laura Bailyn, its mission was to make it easy and accessible for families to build a financial foundation for their children's education and life goals. In October 2020, Kidfund was acquired by its competitor, UNest, and its operations were merged into the UNest platform.
