Innovation Bank is the brand name for the banking API and platform services offered by GMO Aozora Net Bank, Ltd. Established in 1994 and rebranded in 2018, GMO Aozora Net Bank is a Japanese digital bank formed as a joint venture between GMO Internet Group and Aozora Bank Group. The Innovation Bank platform specifically targets other companies, such as FinTech startups and established enterprises, providing them with the technological infrastructure (APIs) to build and integrate banking functions like account creation, balance inquiries, money transfers, and payments directly into their own applications and services.
