GRN GRID is a sustainable, scalable, and secure Layer 1 blockchain network. Its mission is to address the environmental concerns associated with blockchain technology by operating on a completely green and renewable energy-powered infrastructure. The platform introduces a novel consensus method called Proof-of-Stake v2 (PoS2), which aims to provide enhanced security and encourage long-term holding. Key features include built-in user-controlled privacy options, a decentralized exchange (Grid DEX), and functionality for developers to build decentralized applications (dApps). The project is developed and maintained by the Swiss-based company GRN ENERGY AG.
