GoodApril

Founded in 2011 by Mitchell Fox and Benny Joseph, GoodApril was a startup focused on providing year-round, proactive tax advice through its web and mobile applications. The service helped users understand and optimize their tax situations, with a particular focus on complex scenarios involving stock options and the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). The company's goal was to shift tax preparation from a once-a-year event to an ongoing financial planning process. In April 2013, GoodApril was acquired by Intuit, the parent company of TurboTax, and its team and technology were integrated into the TurboTax product suite.
