Originally founded as ThinkingPhones in 2006, the company rebranded to Fuze in 2016. Fuze established itself as a leader in the enterprise Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) market, offering a comprehensive platform that combined voice, video conferencing, instant messaging, and contact center capabilities into a single application. The company's mission was to power enterprise conversations and enhance workforce productivity through a seamless communication experience. In January 2022, Fuze was acquired by 8x8, Inc., another major player in the cloud communications space, and its technology and customer base have since been integrated into 8x8's XCaaS™ (eXperience Communications as a Service™) platform.
