Founded in 1995 in Estonia, Fitek grew to become a leading provider of financial process automation and e-invoicing solutions in the Baltic and Central and Eastern European regions. The company's core business involved helping organizations transition from paper-based to fully digital and automated financial operations, covering services like e-invoice processing, accounts payable/receivable automation, and document archiving. In May 2019, Fitek was acquired by the Belgian FinTech company Unifiedpost Group to strengthen its presence in Europe and advance its mission of creating a pan-European platform for SME business services. Fitek now operates under the Unifiedpost Group brand.
