Fincare Small Finance Bank commenced banking operations in 2017 after receiving a license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The entity originated from the business of Fincare Business Services Limited, a microfinance institution, which was rebranded upon its conversion to a bank. Its mission is to enable the financial inclusion of the unbanked and underbanked, mass retail, and micro & small enterprise segments. The bank emphasizes a "digital-first" approach, offering a suite of modern banking services including savings and current accounts, loans, fixed deposits, and third-party products like insurance.
