Fincare Bank

Fincare Small Finance Bank began its journey as a microfinance institution (Disha Microfin) in 2009. It received its final license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in May 2017 and commenced banking operations in July 2017. The bank's mission was to enable the financial inclusion of the unbanked and underbanked base of the pyramid, mass retail, and micro & small enterprise segments. It focused on a "digital-first" approach, offering savings accounts, loans, and other financial services primarily in rural and semi-urban India. On April 1, 2024, Fincare Small Finance Bank was officially merged with AU Small Finance Bank.
