Financial Intelligence Agency FBiH

The Financial Intelligence Department (FID) is the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, operating as an organizational unit within the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA). Established under the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorist Activities, its core mission is to collect, receive, analyze, investigate, and disseminate information and intelligence related to suspicious financial transactions to competent authorities. The FID acts as the central national body for cooperation with other law enforcement agencies and international FIUs to combat financial crime and uphold the integrity of the country's financial system.
