Founded in 2018 by Mike Cagney, who previously co-founded SoFi, Figure Technologies, Inc. aims to transform the financial services industry. The company leverages its proprietary blockchain, Provenance, along with artificial intelligence and analytics to originate, finance, and service loans with greater speed and efficiency. Its primary consumer-facing products include Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs), mortgage refinancing, and personal loans. In addition to its direct-to-consumer business, Figure also provides a B2B technology platform for loan origination, servicing, and private fund services to other financial institutions.
