Extra Credit Union

Originally founded in 1954 as the State Highway Employees Credit Union for Michigan's State Highway Department employees, the institution rebranded to Extra Credit Union in 2005. It operates as a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative. Its mission is to provide a full range of personal financial services to its members, returning profits to them in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. The credit union offers personal and business banking products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and investment services.
